Back to Work

After 3 weeks off, my day job work week starts tomorrow. Another 7 days. I am still working on getting the house and yard ready for winter. It’s quite a chore. Still making a few repairs and have 2 repair people coming out this week. I have been in the last of the plants. I am stowing away the cushions and outdoor furniture, getting them covered up. I power washed the back of the house and painted more trim today. Just a lot of tidying up. I can’t wait to be done with it. Ugh.

I want to slim down and organize my life, so there isn’t so much to do. I’m going to decorate less. I used to go all out and put a lot of stuff up, but that’s not how I want to spend my time. I still like getting together and seeing people, but you have to make choices about your time. I used to think I could do it all.

I’m trying to think of something special to do for Halloween. I don’t get to see my grandkids on that day and I have to work. I might build a Halloween Lego, eat a special treat, watch a show, something like that.

Well, until next time, I hope to have more writing to report.
