Greetings and welcome to my world of the Imaginarium

Hello! Welcome to my author page where I will discuss a variety of artistic and writing topics and anything that effects my writing life.  After a long hiatus (twenty years), I am back writing again. It’s been a wild ride, and I regret it’s taken so long for me to get back doing something I love so much. It isn’t just that I love writing, but I realize now that it is my soul. Without it, I am not really alive. I was like a zombie, just jumping through hoops and caught up in the rat race. Do you remember that term? It’s like waking up after a long dream/nightmare.

When I am not writing, I enjoy gardening, painting, traveling, museums, history, reading, genealogy, and entertaining. I am forced to participate in physical therapy lest life get the better of me. I work as a nurse practioner in the role of a hospitalist. I have two grown sons, two grandchildren, 3 cats, and a huge garden. I love iris and roses. I am learning to love lilies.

I was born in Indianapolis and moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana, when I was nine years old. My parents divorced when I was thirteen and I lived for a year in Bluffton, Indiana. In my thirties and early forties, I lived part of the year in Denver, Colorado.

My specialty is historical novels and historical mysteries. I may venture into contemporary topics and fantasy or speculative fiction. Time will tell. I read a lot of history. I am curious about everything. With this site, I hope to make new friends and contacts interested in similar subjects, which covers about everything.
