Still Not Writing

I spent the week doing medical stuff, not only for me, but for Dad. Then I cleaned on my house. It still needs more cleaning but is a lot better than it was. Life can be overwhelming. I get a lot done, but there is still so much to do. All of it seems important. I start a new work week tomorrow. I spent today producing and emailing an inventory of my irises that was overdue to the Iris Society I belong to. I am growing over 425 varieties. Wow. No wonder I can never finish.

I have been making copies of the old family photographs my father sent me to send to my brother and sister. The framed originals are still sitting all over my dining room table that was clean a few days ago. They need to be hung…somewhere.

I have also been going through my DVD collection and alphabetizing it and taking them out of their cases and putting them into sleeves in boxes so I can get my movie room clean in the basement. I have been watching Oscar nominated movies in the evenings.

Anyway, I have to get back to writing. I think this business of working on a promotional plan has got me frozen in my tracks. I thought I’d be good at it, but I haven’t hardly started. Many of my tasks aren’t so bad once I start them. The Christmas is put away and the iris inventory is done. Still a few more things to do, but I will get caught up.
