Voices From the Cryptic Mind of Edward Byrant

Above is the title of a new chapbook I edited which is available on Amazon with wonderful illustrations from artist/photographer David Reisig. No relationship, other than friends. The chapbook contains five short stories by Ed who, as I mentioned before, is well-known for his science fiction and horror. I hope to do more of these chapbooks in the future. My goal is to introduce new readers and to welcome back older readers of Edward’s work.

Publishing chapbooks by other artists and writers is something I’ve wanted to do for decades, so it’s quite an accomplishment for me to finally have this out. I enjoy publishing and find it quite rewarding.

I just completed chapter 15 on the Lincoln novel today. I still figure I will finish it this fall but the book will not likely be available until next spring. In the meantime, I plan to make a Lincoln novella available in about a month. Lincoln and Speed have just wrapped up their business in Alton for the time being and will be heading back to Springfield to await the trial.
