I am running late tonight, very late, for getting this out. My father and stepmother are in hospice and don’t get out much. I ran my father over to my brother’s house to see his train room, which is enormous–bigger than some people’s houses. Anyway, I think it does him a lot of good to get out and go someplace. He was used to being an active person. So that’s what I did. It was a lot of driving but worth it.
It still helps me to do this blog and to remember to do it. It keeps me thinking about writing and that I need to get back to it. I always get into trouble if I am away from it too long. It makes it harder for me to get started and into a rhythm again. It’s been long enough but the holidays are a tremendous amount of work, yet we want to get together and see our families and enjoy ourselves after working hard all year.
That’s where I am–wanting to get back to writing, wishing and hoping that I can soon, but still having to do other types of work. This week of cleaning will make it easier for me. Maybe not the cooking. That will only create more work.
Enjoy your families and I hope to be back writing soon.
