Thanksgiving Week

The weeks go by so fast. You are probably all thinking that. For me, this is Thanksgiving week. I work 12 hour shifts all week next week including the actual day. I won’t be alone. Because of that, my family and I will celebrate the holiday on Sunday this week. I will be cleaning and cooking all week. I hope to fit some writing in this week, too, because it has been so long. I also hope to get my Christmas tree up, not decorated, just up and lit. So busy week ahead of me. My week’s start on Tuesday.

I’m still working on the rewrite, and it is coming along quickly. I didn’t go to the writer’s meeting this month but will go twice, I believe, next month. Today I plan on doing laundry and lots of small jobs: cat boxes, cat water filters, clean aquariums, trim up the indoor plants. That sort of thing. Then tomorrow I will start the room-by-room cleaning. The house really needs it because for the last several months my efforts were concentrated on the yard. Yes, my yard has a lot going on. I know.

More on writing soon. In the meantime, read a good book, comment on it. Post something positive. Be the voice you want to hear.
