Pond is Done

It’s a great day because the pond is done. After dividing them, I put 15 pots of waterlilies back in. I transferred 4 fish from the upper pond. It was so dark when I got home from work that I couldn’t see them, alive or dead. I will have to move a few more. But I am so happy to have this done. I still need to clean up the kiddie pools from the back patio. There are some waterlilies that are not repotted. I may try to put a few in the upper pond, but it is difficult for me to get anything done on weeks I work.

I didn’t get any rewriting done on this last week off, either. I had to much in the yard to do with the weather turning. But it will happen. I will get back to it soon. I had some financial things to look at as well. I’m trying to put myself in a position where I can work fewer hours and have more time writing and gardening.

It’s almost Halloween. Perhaps Ed Bryant’s favorite holiday. He loved all holidays and we had a great time celebrating. I hope to be able to do more with his writing as well. Volume III of his retrospective is coming out.

Enjoy the holiday festivities. Speak with you soon.
