Writer’s group tomorrow again. I won’t be going to the November meeting, and we don’t read our work at the December meeting, so this will be my last reading for two months. I tried a name change for one of the main characters at the last meeting and the prior name was preferred so I need to change the name back for tomorrow’s meeting. I have to get all that ready later today.
This morning two of my cats are going to the vet, one for her annuals and the other is having some problems and will get checked out. Hope, the one with problems is very strong and difficult to catch. She’s big and heavy. It’s amazing how heavy she can be. She had an earlier appointment scheduled but broke out of the carrier and I couldn’t get her back in. So I have some dread over this morning’s appointments and am doing strategic planning.
Also this week I’m hoping to repot waterlilies and get them back in the pond. The pond is holding water beautifully and looks much like it did when it first began. The deck is a different color and the pump was relocated and it has internal steps. The changes are small, though it took a couple of months to complete. I’ll try to post a picture soon.
I don’t know how many of you attend writer’s meetings. I get very inspired by seeing old friends and discussing writing and sharing my own writing. It gives me ideas but mostly keeps me rejuvenated. I get lonely for it and am less productive on months where I can’t meet with them. I’m hoping this week off to clean, garden and write. I don’t have many Halloween plans. Those are mostly done for the month.
