Work Gets in the Way

Still doing a lot of yardwork. Trying to catch up and hoping it will be better next year. I’m doing a lot of mulching in the front yard. The pond work also continues. The liner is no good. It must’ve been a cheap liner. My brother, who does ponds, but not my pond, gave me advice on a liner to get. I have that ordered. The other problem is the pump and skimmer box. They set too low below the deck. I can’t really get to it conveniently to give it the maintenance it needs. So it will need to be re-plumbed and moved. It is quite the job. I have a man coming on Wednesday to give an estimate and suggestions for the skimmer and pump. We’ll see how that goes. Kind of a nightmare. Not the good kind.

All this prevented me from getting much writing done this week, other than at the beginning of the week. I will try to get some done during my work week this week, but I’m also hoping to do more mulching and pond work. It is what it is. Today was quite busy. I did get my printer looked at it and it may be running better now. Hopefully I’ll have more on the writing on Thursday. At least, I’m blogging as Judy always said I should.

All my best to everyone.
