Hello again. I basically ended up taking the summer off from writing. I couldn’t go to my writer’s meeting because of my work schedule, and I had a lot of yardwork to do. I’m scheduled to read tomorrow, so I need to write today. It’s my first day off work today. I’ll be writing the final scene of the book I’ve been working on for many years. This will be the conclusion of the final draft. I really need to pick up the pace.
I’ve been looking at retiring but it’s not in the cards yet. Another year and a half probably. Then I could write fulltime. I’ve hired a handman to help with some of the tasks around here. It’s expensive so not sure how much I will do it. It also seems that they make a lot of mistakes and don’t do it exactly as you requested.
I’m looking forward to fall, the colors and smells. Over the summer I took my first vacation in a while and went to Disney World with my nephew. It reminded me of the days when I went with my son. We had a great time and were very compatible. Hopefully we will take other trips together.
I’m excited to finally finish the books. I have another novella that is already to publish. I need to figure out my marketing and publishing plan for the future. I will be publishing some of Edward Bryant’s work as well. Very exciting things are coming. I will post pictures of the covers here. I hope to have more news later this week. See you then!
