Still Working

It’s the time of the year when I can’t attend my writer’s group because of schedule shifts at work. I miss it a lot. I’m spending a lot of time in the yard. The iris are blooming and they are my favorite flowers. Peonies are a close second. There is always a lot of weeding because of the rain. I went to Newfield’s in Indianapolis with my sister. That was a great time.

I wish I could say I was writing but I am mainly weeding, cutting grass and trimming. Soon, I hope to write. I am still assembling my library in the garage. I plan to put a dehumidifier in there for the books. The best portion of my books are stored in the house. The garage holds mainly reference books. I look forward to retirement and being able to read more. I’m doing much with the house to prepare for retirement. Had to have a handyman give me an estimate on work that needs done to the big backyard window.

I hope everyone is having a great early summer. Hopefully I will have more to report next time. I just wanted to keep in touch.
