Baltimore

I’m planning a trip to Baltimore to see my foster daughter. We haven’t seen each other in a number of years, so it should be fabulous. I won’t be gone long, less than a week, but we will make great memories together. I sent her photos of the cats. I need to make a list of the things I’d like to see. I’ve been to Balitmore once before and really enjoyed the trip. I’ll be meeting her significant other for the first time.

I’ve done a little writing on the book. I’m working on the closing arguments for Chapter 22. I read what I have at the writer’s meeting and it went well. I believe I have corrected the previous problem and understand what I need to do. When I finish this chapter, I’m tempted to go back to the other courtroom chapter and redo it while I’m on a roll. Or, continue forward and finish the rough draft of the last two chapters.

I wish I could write faster and accomplish more. Writing comes quickly and easily to me. The problem is my day job. I can’t afford to give it up yet, but I expect I will in another couple of years 2-3 to be precise. That will be nice. Then I can devote myself to the writing.

I have plans to simplify my life so that I can do more of the things I love. More next week. I hope to report that I’m writing more. The yard is nearly finished for the year, but then there will be holidays.
