Working

I have gone back to work on my Lincoln novel. I have begun by researching the court room scene. It is my nemesis. This novel has two courtroom scenes. I’m not at all happy with the first one and am trying to do better on the second. If I’m successful, I’ll rewrite the first in the same style. I’ve spent quite a bit of time researching this actually. A lot of courtroom dramas actually skip the courtroom scene or greatly minimize it, which is probably wise though surprising.

I had a funeral viewing to attend yesterday and have been getting ready for another big project. So I haven’t had as much time as I would like but should have more time this week. This will have to be short as I’m meeting someone soon, but I’m still hanging in there. Still trying to succeed in writing. Wishing all the best of luck to everyone out there.
