Writing Again

Or, I will be. Later today. I have to read at Scribes tomorrow. We will see how far I get. I’m on my way to the dentist for a routine visit in a moment, then home to devote myself to writing. I wonder if it is this way for many writers. Obviously, not all writers. Trying to squeeze out the time and inspiration. When I get home, I will be rounding up all my outlines and papers to figure out where I left off and starting again.

I’m down to the last few chapters and have all the research I need in front of me. I have been distracted by trying to clean my house and genealogy. I’ve only made a dent in the cleaning and need to continue because garden season will be on us soon. I’ll be going to Scribes for a couple of months now, so that will keep me writing. I will get this rough draft written then I need to polish it. I figure all that out when I come back from the dentist.

A couple more people have reached out to me on Wikitree, following the biographies, photos, and updates I post. I find it really interesting to find out where all these family members ended up and to learn their stories. And, I know how much it means to people to finally discover who their grandparents or great grandparents were and see photos of them. My collection comes from my father and his parents, and I want to make sure everyone who wants to see them can see these photos.
