February

I’m coming back to life, but I have another short delay. I was hoping to write and go back to my writer’s meeting this week, but I have some medical screening tests, better safe than sorry, that I need to do which will take up my first two days off. Still, I will do what I can. Much of winter is behind us now. I see a few signs of spring. I started reworking my calendar a bit to get back on track. Shortening the amount of time I have to get some of the tasks done, like cleaning the basement.

My father gifted me some of the old family photos. I have been taking photos of them to send my brother and sister. Electronic copies are a good backup against loss. I want to post many of the photos online on Wikitree so my family looking up their genealogy can find them. I was contacted by two people who found my work online and were grateful for it. That’s why I do it. I want to make personalized notebooks up for each of my grandsons. So I did do more genealogy this week and will take it with me while I’m sitting around waiting on the medical tests. It takes less concentration than writing and I can do it on my phone.

The Christmas is mostly put away. I have a few small things that got missed to put away The garage was on my list of things to do before the garden gets going in earnest in the spring. The basement, the garage and the loft. Cleaning and organizing these areas will make my life a lot better–if I can do it.

So not the writing news, I had hoped to relay. But hopefully next time, I will have good news of my progress. I need to type in more of Ed’s stories and get his next book lined up for publication. I need to develop a promotional plan for the books I have out and the ones I hope still to produce this year. Good luck and happiness to all in whatever you endeavor to do!
