Rejoining the World

I’m trying to recover from being away for most of January. I’ve been working on genealogy, but I need to get back to writing and cleaning and other pursuits. I’ve been here at my house and at work, but I haven’t been online as much and not writing at all. I wasn’t able to go to my writer’s group or hang out with friends because of my work schedule. The holidays had consumed me for a while, but now it’s time to get back to life. Time to rejoin the human race, as they say.

I’m very close to finishing the rough draft of the Lincoln Lovejoy book. I need to work on a publishing plan. I need to work on my website. I wanted to put out another book of Ed Bryant’s stories so people can read his work. My house is a disaster. These things all go together. Last night I started trying to figure out how I could reschedule everything, so that I can get caught up and back on schedule.

I have a distinct lack of energy. I have been sick with a head cold or sinus infection. It turns out several members of my family are, too. A lot of it going around now and that doesn’t help. I will do what I can, as I can. Including today, I have seven days to make a difference and feel better before I go back to work again. I’m getting a really slow start today, but at least I am starting. I hope to have news of my progress in a few days.
